It is wise to prepare inheritance matters well in advance. We draw up testaments for our clients and we give advice in matters of inheritance law. Donations during the lifetime (advance inheritance) often constitute a useful way of minimizing future inheritance taxation.
We provide advice also in such matters and we draw up the required documents. We make inventories of deceased persons’ estates, and upon request by the shareholders of the estate we draw up estate distribution deeds when there is agreement between them concerning the distribution. In litigious cases, or when a shareholder is passive, an administrator and/or a distributor appointed by a court of law is often required for the estate. Our attorneys have extensive experience of administering and distributing estates and we are prepared to assume also such tasks.
Our attorneys in charge of inheritance law matters have completed the mediator’s training of the Finnish Bar Association and they have been entered in the Association’s register of mediators.
